Banco de Chile
Founded in 1893, Banco de Chile is the main private bank in the country, standing out for its solidity and profitability, offering a wide range of products and services to all segments of the market and servicing a client base of over one million debtors. Quiñenco, together with Citigroup, controls 51.2% of Banco de Chile.
Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas (CCU) is a diversified alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages company, with operations in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia and Peru, as well as wine exports to more than 80 countries. It is the main beer producer in Chile and the second in Argentina. Together with Heineken, Quiñenco controls 60% of CCU.see more
Through Invexans, Quiñenco participates in the French multinational Nexans, one of the leading producers of cables and technological solutions in the world with a presence in 34 countries. Quiñenco is the majority shareholder of the French company, holding 29.1% ownership.
Chilean licensee of the Anglo-Dutch company Shell, ENEX is one of the main distributors of fuels and lubricants in the country, with a network of 451 service stations and 161 convenience stores in Chile. Enex is a fully-owned subsidiary of Quiñenco.
Founded in 1872, Compañía Sudamericana de Vapores (CSAV) currently develops its main line of business, container shipping, through its 25.9% share in the German shipping company Hapag- Lloyd, the fifth most important in the world which operates a global network of 119 liner services, with offices in 128 countries. Quiñenco owns 56.2% of CSAV.
SM SAAM is a multinational company of Chilean origin which offers services for international trade through port terminals, tug boats and logistics. It is currently one of the main port operators in America, leader in the continent in the tug boat business. It has a presence in 13 countries and 70 ports.see more
Banchile Seguros de Vida aims to provide comprehensive solutions to the protection requirements of individuals and their families by offering life, accident and health insurance through mass insurance distribution channels. Quiñenco is the controlling shareholder with a 66.3% stake.
